If you’re running any kind of paid traffic, whether it be to promote a brand or just simply run affiliate offers, you probably already know that email alerts are your best friend.

Truth be told, they can save you a lot of money.

If your server crashes in the middle of the night or the main call center you’re selling calls to starts having routing issues, you want to be immediately notified so you can fix the problem.

Most platforms these days offer email alerts, but not many offer completely free SMS notifications. If you don’t want to spend a lot of your time in front of your computer you need SMS alerts too.

Today I’m going to show you how to turn any email alert into a free SMS notification.

Step 1: Find Your Carrier’s Email Address

Visit EmailTextMessages.com

Find your mobile carrier’s email address that is used to send text messages to phones.

Example – If you use AT&T:

att email alert to sms notification

Step 2: Replace Email with Your Phone Number

Replace ’10digitphonenumber’ with your actual 10 digit phone number.

Example – If your number was ‘123-456-7899’ you change the email to ‘1234567899@txt.att.net’

Step 3: Use Email Address at Your Favorite Services

Now anywhere that offers free email notifications (Voluum, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, TrackDrive, etc.) can also offer you free SMS notifications.

You just need to use the special email address you created above and the email will automatically be converted to a text message and be sent to your phone.
